diy: photo canvas

i'd like to think of myself as a pretty crafty person, so from time to time i'm going to post some of my crafty projects. =)

i'm in love with photo canvases... but they are really expensive, even for the small sizes. after some searching pinterest i came across this tutorial on how to make them. for the first 2 i did exactly as she said but i kept getting crinkles and bumps all in my paper and when i tried to smooth it out it caused a tear in one of my favorite ones. =( so, i decided to do it a little differently and i made a video on how i did it. it's kind of common sense, but i thought i'd post it anyway. lol

i've got some special ones planned for my husband =) i hope yall can benefit from this!

  12. @Kandy, i open the photo in picnik and change it to black and white. then i change the brightness and the increase the blacks to fit what i like.
