flower designed cornrows

sunday is normally our styling day but i had to get it done today because we have somewhere to go tomorrow. i had already decided friday night what style i wanted to attempt to do. i did a google search a while back for flower design cornrows and i saw a picture of one that i really liked. idiot me didn't save the picture but if i remembered what it looked like because it had a lot of loopys. odd explanation i know but once you see the pics you'll understand lol. so if you're the person who came up with this, please let me know and i'll glady give you some of the credit for this idea. =)

peep those new flower beads on her cornrows! .99 for them babies at our beauty supply store for a pack of 100. they look like lil candies to me and she loves them. ignore the white looking stuff/lil bubbles, it's just a mix of olive oil and tea tree oil i had just put on her scalp before i took the pics. gotta stay lice free ya know ;)  anywho, on to the pictures!

  3. Too cute! Got skills girl..I haven't tried any fancy loopy designs yet. Its so funny you mentioned the lice because after I read tea tree oil I was gonna say "you trying to get rid of lice?!" Lol good job on the style!

  4. @Siressa, the easiest way i can even try to think of explaining it would be: for 1 "loop" part off a chunk of hair how ever big you want to work with, then split that into two and then braid it kind of like in a "U" shape.. if that makes ANY sense at all. lol

i may try to do a video on it sometime soon =)

  5. That is amazing! I love how all of the braids on the bottom are about the same size. Whenever I try something this intricate, I always end up with a bunch of differently sized braids on the bottom. I will definitely keep an eye out for the tutorial. Thank you for sharing this with us! :)
